VASCO: Paresh Joshi was unanimously elected as the president of the Damodar Saptah Utsav Committee during their Annual General Meeting on Sunday. The committee has announced special programmes to mark the 125th anniversary of Vasco’s renowned festival this year.
Speaking to the media, Joshi expressed his gratitude for being chosen unanimously, especially in the significant milestone year of the festival. “The members decided to elect a member of the Joshi family unanimously, and I am honoured to lead the Saptah Utsav Committee,” he said. Joshi highlighted the historical significance, mentioning his previous elections during the festival’s 50th and 100th years.
