"I thanked CM, BJP state president Tanavade and central leaders of BJP for showing trust in me and giving me added responsibility, '' said Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane.

With these responsibilities I will work to solve the problems of people and serve the people of Goa with sincerity, he added.

Forest Minister Rane said that he will work to solve issues related to the Forest department.

"We have issues in forests related to our Sattari taluka and also related to other areas. I will try to understand the specific issues from the local MLAs and locals and solve their issues," said Rane.

He said that he will soon open an email account so that people can send their grievances directly to him.

Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said that as tourism is the revenue generator for the state we need a roadmap for tourism.

"Going through Covid we had issues. We have to start restructuring ourselves. Clear focus should be on quality tourism rather than quantity tourism. There are areas which we have never touched. We are rich in culture, heritage. we have to touch upon these areas," said Khaunte.

Khaunte said that backwater hinterland tourism has to be explored to make Goa a topmost destination for tourism with quality tourism.

"Shripad Naik is the central minister of state for tourism. With his support and also the central government will support us. With the help of all, we will plan the tourism roadmap with the expextations of the people," he said.

By preserving our identity we have to become a number 1 tourism destination, added Khaunte.

While speaking about the Information and Technology portfolio Khaute said that a lot of reforms will be undertaken. "How to stop brain drain is a challenge. I have always accepted challenges," said Khaute.

"Now the show will start rather than the show must go on," he said.
