The government on Thursday issued orders for the transfer and posting of officers in some important positions in various departments.
Those officers who have got new postings include Sharmila Zuzarte (Deputy Controller of Civil Defence), Varsha Naik (Director of Small Savings and Lotteries with additional charge of Secretary, state Police complaint authority), Mahadev Araundekar (Director-Administration of Education), Prasad Volvoikar (Director of Printing and Stationery), Rajendra Mirajkar (CEO Khadi and Village industries Board), Melvin Vaz (Managing Director Goa State SC and OBC Finance Development Corporation with additional charge of Member Secretary Goa State Commission for Women), Sangeeta Naik (additional Collector, North), Snehal Goltekar (State Land Acquisition officer of Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation) and Damodar Morajkar (General Manager (DIC), Director of Industry, Trade and Commerce).
Clen Madeira, Secretary of Goa Rehabilitation Board will be holding additional charge as Director of Urban Development and MD of Info Tech Corporation. In another order, Diksha Tari has been posted (Under Secretary-Home II), Shreyas D'Silva (Under Secretary, GA-II), Velton Tellis (Project Officer, DRDA, North), Prajeet Chodankar, Medora D’Costa, Vinayak Chari and Dr Mriselda Monteiro (Assistant Commissioners of Commercial Taxes), Sandeep Gawade (Under Secretary-Revenue I) with additional Charge of Under Secretary (Public Grievances), Sharmila Gaunkar (Deputy Collector of Quepem with additional charge of CO of Cuncolim Municipal Council).
Besides, other officers transferred are Prakash Redkar (Deputy Director-Admn, Electricity Department with additional Charge of Deputy Director (Admn), Public Works Department), A S Mahatme (Under Secretary, Handicrafts, Textile and Coir with additional Charge of Assistant Director, Handicraft, Textile and coir), Joao Fernandes (Deputy Collector and SDO-II, Salcete with additional Charge of SLAO, KRC), Krishnakant Pangam (Deputy Director-Admn, Panchayat), Girish Sawant (Deputy Director Apna Ghar with Additional Charge of Member Secretary Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda), Raghuraj Faldessai (Project officer DRDA, south with additional charge of Deputy Director Public Grievances).
Kuldeep Arolkar (Under Secretary to Tourism Minister) will hold additional charge of Deputy Director (Admn) Tourism Department, while Dattaraj Gauns Dessai, deputy registrar of co-operative (Tech) will hold additional charge of Member Secretary Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Mormugao and Deputy Registrar of Cooperative (Admn).
Kabir Shirgaonkar, CO of Sanquelim Municipal Council will hold charge as CO of Bicholim Municipal Council, while Nilesh Dhalgodkar will serve as Deputy Collector of Dharbandora. Ramesh Naik will be Under Secretary to Minister for WRD). Durga Kinlekar has been transferred as Deputy Collector (Revenue), North, Avelina D'Sa Pereira as Under Secretary, Higher Education with additional Charge of Deputy Director (Admin) Technical Education. Prajakta Goltekar will be the Deputy Director (Vigilance).
