No solution yet on stray dogs menace on Colva beach

Another tourist season has started and there seems no solution to the stray dogs loitering on the world-famous Colva beach. Stray dogs were spotted right at the entrance to the beach, amidst visitors, indicating that the stray dog menace on the beach is far from over.   

The issue of stray dogs was discussed with Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte during his visit to the beach couple of months ago. Tourism officials had promised action by roping in NGOs involved in animal care, but the ground reality remains unchanged.
