Trying to clear the air on his relationship with the Health Minister, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said there could be differences of opinion but he never had any issues with his senior cabinet colleague.
“There are no differences between me and the health minister. There is no misunderstanding among us. We may have different views but when it comes to cabinet, government or the State, our view is always one,” said Sawant, in the presence of the Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane, while addressing the regular cabinet briefing.
At the peak of the second Covid wave, the chief minister and the health minister were found to be making contrary statements even as the State was struggling to put the Covid-related infra in place.
Senior central leaders of the BJP had to intervene to bring about a thaw between the two senior cabinet colleagues.
