PM hails Goa ZP verdict

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the BJP“MGP (NDA) alliance’s performance in the Zilla Panchayat elections in Goa, saying the verdict reflected the people’s faith in good governance and progressive politics.
In a message congratulating the alliance, the Prime Minister said Goa had once again stood firmly with development-oriented governance. “Goa stands with good governance. Goa stands with progressive politics,” he said, thanking the people of the state for extending strong support to the BJP“MGP (NDA) family in the Zilla Panchayat polls.
Stating that the mandate would further energise the government’s development agenda, Modi said the results would add more vigour to efforts aimed at accelerating Goa’s growth. He reiterated the NDA’s commitment to fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of the people of the state.
The Prime Minister also lauded party workers for their role in the electoral success, crediting the outcome to the sustained groundwork carried out by NDA karyakartas. “Our hardworking NDA karyakartas have done commendable work on the ground, which has led to this result,” he said.
The Zilla Panchayat results are being seen by the BJP as an endorsement of its governance model in the state, even as the outcomes have sparked political debate over shifting voter preferences at the grassroots level.
