The Fatorda police has registered a FIR against an unknown person for allegedly kidnapping a minor boy from the lawful guardianship of his parents.
The police action comes in the wake of a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, a resident of Gogol-Margao alleging that on December 23 at around 7.45 pm, the unknown accused person took away her minor son from Gogol from her lawful guardianship without her consent and thereby committed an act of kidnapping.
The police has registered the FIR under section 137(2) BNS of 2023 and Section 8 of Goa Children's Act.
Further investigation is underway.
