'Renkler Waves' international art exhibition concludes at Vagator

'Renkler Waves', an international art exhibition organised by art group 'Incredible Talents' was recently held at Ujwal Art Gallery, Vagator in Goa.

More than 30 artists from India, Oman, Bangladesh and Sudan participated in the event. Noted art critic Qazi M Raghib inaugurated the international exhibition while Indian Royal Academy of Art and Culture President Rehman Patel was the guest of honour. Sushmita Gupta, Convenor of the Rangrez Artist Group, Indian Social Club, Oman, and Qasim Talib Al Bourai, a guest from Oman, graced the inauguration ceremony as special guests. The exhibition was curated by Mona Rathod and Tushar Bansal.

The artists who exhibited their works included Suresh Kumar, Shruti Gupta, Prasanth, Sara Syeda, Aparna Banerjee, Leena Mathur, Rachana Karia, Abdel Rehman, Nagraj Kumbhar, Sayanti Dutta, Hansa Sewani, Shaikh Asan, Rajshekhar S, Priti Samyukta, Gouri Seth, Dr Subbayya Neela, Kahkashan Nazneen, Hashura, Zannat, Lata Iyer, Monika Vishwakarma, Madhu Dhir, Sami and Dr Madhurani Naik Sawant, among others.

Paintings in abstract, figurative form and conceptual art experimented with through various mediums attracted the visitors.

'Renkler' means 'colours' in Turkish and the aptly named exhibition brought together the colours from different corners of the world through the initiative by Incredible Talents, a non-profit international organisation approved by the Central Government.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the sculptures by Suresh Kumar, who displayed his work titled 'Woman Power', which depicts the need for every woman to be educated to create a more powerful and resilient society.
