The PWD has informed that entire Bardez and part of Bicholim talukas will get restricted water supply for two days on September 22 and 23, due to installation of a new pump at the 50 MLD water treatment plant in Assonora.
The department is carrying out installation, testing and commissioning of the new VT pump and connecting the pump to the rising mains to MBR and electric connection on September 22 from 8 am to 4 pm at the 50 MLD water treatment plant and therefore water supply will be restricted.
“Due to installation of the new pump at the 50 MLD water treatment plant there will be restricted water supply to the entire Bardez and part of Bicholim taluka for two days,” the Executive Engineer, PWD (water) said in a press note.
