Rider dies of injures in Surla mishap

BICHOLIM: A young rider from Ajoba Nagar in Honda-Sattari, who was seriously injured in a self-accident at Dignem-Surla on March 19, died at the GMC hospital early Wednesday morning.

According to Bicholim police, Ali Jalaluddin Mamlekar (22) had been seriously injured in a self-accident on the night of March 19.

He was first shifted to the CHC at Sankhali and was later referred to the GMC hospital Bambolim for further medical treatment, where he breathed his last.

Bicholim Police has registered a case of unnatural death under Section 174 CrPC.
