Rodrigues, Lolienkar transferred out of State

Top Goan IAS officers Sanjit Rodrigues and Prasad Lolienkar were Thursday issued orders by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), transferring them out of the State.

While Rodrigues has been transferred to Ladakh, Lolienkar has been shifted to Andaman and Nicobar islands. The transfer of these bureaucrats had been due for long ever since the two Goa civil service officers were promoted to the IAS AGMUT cadre a few years ago.

Several other Goa civil service officers promoted to the IAS cadre after Rodrigues and Lolienkar are serving in Ladakh and other States which are part of the AGMUT cadre.

Another such Goa civil service officer promoted to the IAS cadre, Prassana Acharya has by the same MHA order been shifted back to Goa from Mizoram.

Also, Swetika Sachan, who is a direct IAS cadre officer, has been shifted back to Delhi and Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Audesh Kumar Singh and Chesta Yadav have been posted to Goa.

Meanwhile, the MHA also effected a reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers shifting Ajay Krishna Sharma and Varsha Sharma to Goa from the Andamans.
