The Railway Protection Force has nabbed a person, who was carrying 180 Goa made liquor bottles worth Rs 7,000 at the Margao railway station.
The Railway Protection Force personnel were conducting a secret watch and noticed a man in a suspicious manner on platform No. four at the Madgaon Railway Station. The man was carrying four back packs and was trying to flee from the spot.
The Railway Protection Force apprehended the man and upon checking the man’s baggage they found in his possession 180 Goa made liquor bottles worth Rs 7,000.
Upon further enquiry, the man revealed himself as Laxman Dangi, aged 35 years, residing at Aquem and was supposed to board ERS Okha Express. After adopting legal formalities the man was handed over to Excise department for further course of action.
