Congress observers descended in the Assembly constituencies to oversee the ongoing membership drive of the party across the State.
AICC observer for South Goa district, Sunil Hanumannavar along with South Goa district President Joe Dias descended in Velim constituency on Thursday to oversee the membership of the party in the constituency.
The AICC observer was accompanied by GPCC Vice-President M K Sheikh, GPCC general secretary Subhash Faldesai, DCC vice-president Deepak Kharangate, Velim block Congress committee president Royen Viegas, Chinchinim panch members Santos and Reena during the membership drive in Chinchinim village.
The Congress membership drive had started last month across the State, with the party observers setting a membership target to the local leaders across the constituency.
After visiting Velim constituency, the AICC observer was scheduled to visit neighbouring Cuncolim constituency to supervise the ongoing membership drive.
