A scooter rider was injured after colliding with a car in Usgao on Friday evening. According to locals, the car was going from Usgao towards Ganjem, while the scooter was going behind the car. The scooter rider Pritinand Gaonkar of Kankere-Guleli was injured in the mishap and was admitted to the Piliem Primary Health Centre in a 108 ambulance, from where he was referred to the GMC hospital for further treatment. Ponda police is investigating the case.
