As part of the ongoing Sewa Pakhwada and in line with the initiative to promote ease of working in government offices, the Collector of South Goa District, Egna Cleetus, IAS, convened a special meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) with stress on recruitments and appointments.
The meeting took important decisions on the recruitment and appointment front by issuing offers of appointment to 14 Lower Divisional Clerks (LDCs) selected by the Goa Staff Selection Commission.
The meeting also granted promotions to a Head Clerk, six Circle Inspectors, two Upper Divisional Clerks (UDCs), two Awal Karkuns, one Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) and a Talathi.
As far as confirmation of services is concerned, the meeting confirmed the services of a Talathi and a Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC).
The exercise reflects the commitment of the District Administration towards employee welfare, timely career progression, and enhancing efficiency in public service delivery.
