St Cruz MLA Rudolf Fernandes expressed hope that good candidates are elected in the three panchayats of his constituency, so that he is able to work with them for the overall development of the constituency.
Speaking to The Goan, Fernandes informed that he has backed some candidates in the three panchayats and is expecting many of his supporters to be victorious as well.
“It is important that good candidates get elected at the panchayat level as it becomes easy to work with them in developing the constituency. If there are any development works to be undertaken in the villages, there has to be better coordination between the MLA and the panchayat body,” the MLA added.
