St Cruz woman dies in mishap

A woman from Santa Cruz Pushpalata Swamy died on the spot in a mishap which occurred at Kadamba bypass road, Chimbel on Sunday night.

Though no details were available on the mishap as the Old Goa police were conducting investigations, reliable sources informed that a jeep attached to North Goa Collectorate office was involved along with two two-wheelers.

The sources also informed that the jeep collided with the two-wheelers, resulting in the death of Pushpalata Swamy who was riding one of the two-wheeler.

“The other rider was shifted to the GMC and his condition is stated to be serious,” the sources stated.
