Structural audit has to be done every five years

A civil and senior structural engineer highlighted that, according to the National Building Code, a structural audit must be conducted every five years for all buildings, including private, commercial, government, and residential properties. This audit assesses the integrity of structural members to ensure safety.

"Unfortunately, it is not mandatory to conduct these audits," the engineer noted.
