Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that 'Swayampurna Chovot Bazaar' will be set up in all talukas of the State from August 20 and they will run till September 10.
Speaking to reporters, Sawant said the 'Swayampurna Chovot Bazaar' initiative is based on 'Swayampurna Goem, and it will be started in all 12 talukas of the State.
“From August 20, pandals will be installed for the benefits of Goans who want set up their stalls to sell sweets, handicrafts or matoli items. The Bazaar will continue till September 10,” he stated.
“The stalls will be allotted free of cost on first come first served basis. Those who want to set up stalls should contact the Swayampurna Mitras of their respective panchayats,” Sawant informed, while urging Goans to buy items for Chaturthi from this Bazaar.
