Civil Society members and concerned citizens on Friday gathered at the Miramar Circle in the capital city in solidarity with the Bengaluru-based student and Climate Change Activist Disha Ravi (22) among others who are being investigated for alleged involvement in sharing a social media 'toolkit' related to the farmer protest with international green icon Greta Thunberg.
Ravi was picked up from her home in Bengaluru and arrested by the Delhi police in a case where charges of sedition have been slapped on her. She spent five days in custody of the police but on Friday a Delhi court refused to extend her police custody and has instead remanded her to three-days in judicial custody.
