Two youth held with party drugs

In its continuing drive against narcotics , Goa Police’s Crime Branch (CB) team arrested two youth for allegedly possessing party drugs in the State’s coastal belt. 

Details shared by SP Nidhin Valsan states that Sigmund Telles, aged 21 years and Akshay Banaulikar, aged 26 years, both residents of Calangute were caught red-handed with drugs meant to be sold to their consumers and traffickers ahead of the State's annual tourist season.

In the raid next to a starred hotel at Candolim on the intervening night of September 27-28, Banaulikar was caught with 10 tablets of suspected ecstasy and Telles was found with suspected MDMA. 

The raiding team also seized two mobile phones and a two wheeler from their possession, all of which is valued at Rs 3.50 lakh approx.
