ZP polls: Kandolkar creates a scene in Pirna

MAPUSA
A polling station at Pirna village in Colvale ZP constituency witnessed a tense situation for a brief moment after former BJP MLA and Working President of Goa Forward Party, Kiran Kandolkar alleged that BJP state president and organising secretary were forcing voters to cast their vote for BJP.

“For the last three hours, the BJP Organising Secretary, Satish Dhond and BJP State President Sadanand Tanavade have been stationed at the Pirna polling station and luring people to vote for BJP,” alleged Kandolkar who rushed to the particular polling station.

But neither Dhond nor Tanavde was present at the polling station when Kandolkar reached the site.

The former BJP MLA expressed confidence that both his candidates in Colvale and Sirsaim will win the polls but alleged that BJP were capable to go to any length even tampering with the ballot boxes.
