MPDA Chairperson Joshua DSouza said the recent moves of Calangute MLA Michael Lobo to join the BJP was prompted by his personal interest and maintained that the law would prevail.
"It is a clear indication that whatever Lobo is doing seems to be in his personal interest and it looks like a move he has taken since he seems to be in trouble and he is trying the best way he can save himself.”
“He has been exposed in the last three months and is trying to take sympathy from the media, but I don’t think it is working for him so far and finally, the law will prevail. Finally, he knows better why he left the BJP and why he wants to join the BJP again," said D'Souza.
