The Revolutionary Goans Supremo, Manoj Parab slammed the BJP-led government for encouraging the construction of a ‘Kannada Bhavan’ in Goa. Unfortunately, the BJP is running out of votes and ideas as well. These are all pre-election stunts prior to the upcoming assembly elections to target the migrant vote bank in the state.
RG does not welcome the decision of the Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday announcing Rs10 crores for the construction of ‘Kannada Bhavan’ in Goa. CM has given his assurance to the office bearers of the All Goa Kannada Maha Sangha, who met him at his home office ‘Krishna’ in Bengaluru. The delegation was led by BJP National General Secretary and MLA C T Ravi.
“A large number of migrants from Karnataka have settled in Goa over the last few years but we will not allow the construction of this Kannada Bhavan as it is not part of our identity and culture. I urge my fellow Goans to come forward in this fight to protect your identity and culture, which is unique in nature and threat of losing it, as the politicians are not bothered,” said Manoj.
“The upcoming Assembly elections are crucial and the right time for a revolution by electing people who will protect the interest of Goa or else it will be lost at the hands of outsiders in the coming years,” he added.
