The Central government has assured to deliver one tanker containing medical oxygen every day to Goa on the request forwarded by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
The statement was made by Gadkari’s official Twitter handle on Thursday in view of the rising demand for oxygen in Goa and in accordance with the discussion between Sawant and Gadkari.
Late on Thursday evening, CM Sawant also announced that the Centre has made an additional allocation of 20 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO), thereby raising the overall supply to 46 MT of LMO for Goa.
