Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the low-pressure developed over the South-east Arabian Sea is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by May 16.
As a result, Goa is likely to experience heavy rainfall as gusty winds at many places from May 15 to May 17.
The cyclonic storm is likely to move away thereafter towards North north-westwards towards Gujarat by May 18.
Sea conditions will be very rough to high off Goa coast on May 16 and 17 and fisherman are advised to return to the coast.
