Taking up cudgels against former Goa Governor Satyapal Malik over his allegations of corruption against the government, BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade claimed that journalist Rajdeep Sardesai instigated him and made him say what he had in his mind.
Tanavade refuted all allegations of corruption made by the ex-governor saying all guidelines of central government were followed by the State vis-Ã -vis food supply during Covid lockdown and the allegations of corruption are baseless.
He also said the existing Raj Bhavan building is old and the government had proposed to maintain it as a heritage site and construct a new building as residence for Goa governor.
“If the ex-governor wants to do politics, he should first resign from the constitutional post”, Tanavade said.
