After waging war against pre-election recruitments in the government during the former Congress regime, the current government has decided to send advertisements of job vacancies to temples, churches, mosques and NGOs.
Besides normal advertisements in local dailies, this is thefirst time the state government has initiated such a step. The issue comes upin the ongoing assembly session after opposition benches insisted on a regularisationof scrapped government jobs in light of irregularities in the recruitmentprocess when the election code of conduct was in session. The Chief Ministersaid that by September all advertisements will be sent to the respective placeswithout fail.
