Anti NarcoticCell of Goa Police has arrested accused Anthony Chike s/o Okoye, 32 yrs,Nigerian National who was found in illegal possession of 2.933 kgs ofcharas. The approximate value of the seized contraband is approximatelyRs. 4,50,000/- in the international market.
The accusedwas previously arrested by Calangute Police Station in their Police StationCrime No. 239/10 u/s 21 (b) & 20 (b) (ii) for the possession of 11 grams ofCocaine and 68 grams of Charas. The accused was subsequently released on bail.The case is pending trial. The accused will be produced before Hon’ble JMFCMapusa and Police Custody remand is being sought for further investigation.
