Cong shouldn’t name Chodankar as it’s candidate for LS polls

Former president of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, Girish Chodankar, is desperately trying to put pressure on the Congress High Command to somehow declare his name for the South Goa parliamentary seat in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections by issuing his own senseless statements in Goa.

In fact, Chodankar is heard claiming that BJP leaders and some insiders from the Congress party are working overtime to sabotage his bid for the South Goa Lok Sabha ticket. Now, why would they when this man has not even won a single Assembly election in the state on a Congress ticket even once in Goa?

And why should the Congress name Girish Chodankar as its candidate for the South Goa parliamentary seat when he has done absolutely nothing for the party despite being a GPCC President in the past but only deliberately distributing tickets for some weak candidates during most assembly elections and has virtually finished the Congress party in Goa? I therefore personally feel that Chodankar should not be given a Congress ticket for the South Goa parliamentary seat.
