Have a blessed Easter

Easter Sunday is a very important Christian festival which marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for human sins and to appease God’s wrath, demonstrating mercy and forgiveness. He was crucified at the age of 33 and rose from the grave, defeating sin and death.

Today, the cross symbolises holiness and serves as a powerful weapon against demons and devils, protecting the children of God from evil. Jesus Christ’s love for humanity led him to be born, live, die on the cross for our sins, rise again, and now reside on the Altar for our love and peace. The date of Easter Sunday changes from year to year but typically falls between the end of March and the end of April.

During Lent, many people give up bad habits such as smoking, drinking alcohol, watching inappropriate content, engaging in lustful behaviour, harbouring negative thoughts, expressing jealousy and hate, making derogatory comments, or committing crimes. Let us strive to continue these good habits even after Easter. Take time out from busy days to remember Jesus Christ, read the Holy Bible, and pray the rosary every night. Jesus, we love you dearly.
