It is a good step and campaign to stop begging for cash to make India beggar-free initiated by Bengaluru Hudugaru. Now it's become a national movement. A different movement has started in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad with beggars be they female, male, children, old and disabled to be given food, water and clothes but not a single rupee in cash. In Goa, beggars from different parts of India have arrived and they are spread all over Goa. They harass the tourists on the beaches, markets, traffic signals, etc. After earning money begging whole day, the beggars are enjoying in best hotels consuming alcohol and quality food in bar and restaurants. During church or temple festivals the mafias who run the business of beggars bring them early in the morning and keep them at various spots and take them back in the middle of the night. This begging racket has to be stopped. Requesting people of Goa not to give beggars cash but instead of cash only give food, water or clothes. Let's make Goa a beggar-free state.
