Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in 2022 that his government will give employment to at least one person in every family in the state, for which a skill mapping exercise will be initiated. This is a skills development policy of any government. Or this could be self employment choice of any citizen. But what about government employment? Will government share government jobs to every family? Private jobs cannot meet the needs of people. In this case, government should mandatorily provide one government job to a family. As per Article 16 in Constitution of India, section (1) There shall be equality of opportunity for all citizens in matters relating to employment or appointment to any office under the State.So is Article 16 executed by the Indian government or state government of India? The current resident population of Goa, as per census figures is approximately 15.42 lakh and the State government has 63,162 employees in regular employment in its 87 departments approximately. So in Goa , one job per family is possible. Of course, self employment is the wish of a citizen. And government must motivate such employment. So idea of 'Swayampurn Goem' has to be executed by encouraging unemployed families.
