It is really good to see the large crowd for the Carnival traditional floats parade in Margao. The old Carnival route is a perfect route for the Carnival parade and the people have really enjoyed the floats in a traditional way. There were more than 75 floats from various places of Goa and shown the talent in them by creating various floats by artists, traditional folk dance and music, urrak seasonal drink of Goa , our traditional culture, how to save and protect our environment and many other items which have touched our hearts. Goans are good dancers and the beat of music and traditional Konkani songs made even the young and old dance in the public. Along with the Goans, the Indian tourists and the foreigners had lots of fun and joy. The Margao Municipality Carnival Committee has well organised the traditional floats in the city where the MLAs, ministers and tourism minister along with Margao Municipal Council officials took part. Special thanks to all the contestants who had worked hard and taken part in the Goencho Carnival parade.
