Pavements are being constructed for the benefit of pedestrians. However there are instances wherein errors have been noticed at these pavements thereby turning it dangerous for public at large.
In one such instance an exposed gap has been noticed close to the pavement near ‘Radhanath Sadan’ at Khadpabandh in Ponda.
Pedestrians proceed along this strategic route on regular basis and they are likely to fall in the drain thereby leading to adverse consequences.
Of course, the situation would worsen during late evening and night whenever there is lesser visibility on the road. Senior citizens would be the worst sufferers in the process.
Above serious defect has been lying neglected for quite long. Let us hope that prompt favourable action would follow in public interest.
