The news report about Goa’s seafood industry reeling under the heavy tariffs imposed by the US tells a different story. And perhaps it is bound to have a negative impact across the country, especially in the farming sector. So, have we been sold out? The authorities have a lot to answer.

Benaulim should be renamed to ‘Bowbowlim’ considering the number of stray dogs seen right from the beach to Maria Hall, to Colva Road and the Varca Road. The matter has been worsened by bleeding-heart dog lovers who pick any random location to feed the canines.Cases of dog bites have already been reported, many quite serious.
