Apropos to ‘Har ghar jal -- The Goan Everyday 18 August 2022). Indeed it is an achievement for Goa, being the first State to achieve 100 percent certification of tapped water supply in every home.
It is said, one can live without food but not without water and so, it is great to know that nobody will die without water in their homes.
Yes, every State should take a cue from Goa. However, we need to ensure that there is sufficient water in the lakes supplying water.
In fact, we need to take care of the environment, preventing damage to the Earth, preserving wetlands, etc. Let's be kind to nature and nature will be kind to us.
It's also good to see 'Har Ghar......' now becoming the buzzword. In fact, we should all work towards everyone having the basic necessities of life viz., 'Roti, Kapda aur Makaan'.
