Why is the Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant batting for World Peace University at Tivim despite locals and majority of comunidade members opposing it with very valid reasons. It appears to me that the Goa Govt is in collusion with specific "compromised gaunkars-villagers/"Trojan horses"at Tivim and doing all it can to facilitate this massive campus from coming up. The Goa government is coming up with creative ways for massive land grabs in Goa and one key example here is at Tivim. How will Goans and particularly Tivim villagers benefit, other than the "sad" jobs offer that the CM is promising? This project if set up will actually harm and not benefit the villagers of Tivim! We have seen from past projects; what percentage of Goans actually get jobs and what pathetic positions/pay scales are actually given to Goans. If the Goa CM is really adamant then I ask that he should have this project in his own constituency and let's see if they openly back him on the same or they ensure that this is his last term from Sanquelim.
