It is inappropriate and uncalled for to blame the rains for the flooding. Instead of placing experts on Planning and Municipal bodies to advise the authorities, chums of politicians have been appointed with ulterior motives and the results are there for all to see.

Interestingly, at the road in front of and around Panaji MLA Babush Monserrate’s mansion and his two hotels at Miramar, there has been no flooding and those roads are intact with no potholes.

This is not a miracle but only clearly demonstrates that where there is Will there is a Way. When will those in Power come to terms with the fact that Public Interest must always supersede Personal interest?
