It is noticed that till today the panchayat elections are fought on party lines as in assembly elections politicians have spent money for their candidates to win the election and there were phone calls made to support their candidates for sarpanch's post. To fool the people the candidates say that they are independent candidates. The ruling party and former MLAs want to rule the panchayats and this is the main reason where the development of the village is ruined with political intervention. The people should teach a lesson to the respective panchas who do not listen to their voices to develop the village. Yes it's people's power.
