Firstly, I would like to thank some specific individuals (media and independently) for their painstaking work in gathering vital information and hence exposing the devious/unscrupulous manner in which the Goa government (particularly the TCP Ministry) was going about and planning further on the rapid sell-out/destruction of Pernem taluka. Now with all the facts exposed CM/TCP Minister now under pressure they came out with a "new trick" to calm things down for the time being using the word "abeyance"! It is key to note that elections are around the corner and the Goa BJP government possibly does not want any negative marketing.
TCP Minister please note the demand is "scrap the plan" and not "hold it in abeyance" so as to give your destructive govt some time to think how to manipulate the people and finally get your way. Just to re-iterate the Regional Plan done bottom up from the grass roots and with experts involved anytime has more credibility versus the plan done by you in collusion with your consultancy/agency paid by your government.
