Steam inhalation can reduce viral load

With the growing number of cases of coronavirus and deaths in the state it has become absolutely necessary to follow all the protocols related to the pandemic. 

However one more protocol that could be followed by the people is to have steam inhalation. Drinking hot water is good for the throat. But the virus is hidden behind the paranasal sinus where the hot water does not reach. However the steam that one takes by inhalation reaches the back of the paranasal sinus. 

A study has found that steam inhalation could be an effective treatment for Covid-19 positive patients. 

This study, although a small one, shows the beneficial effects of steam inhalation in reducing viral shedding from infected patients. It happens to be an easily accessible, non-invasive and inexpensive procedure which has been proven to be effective to reduce the viral load.

Online GPSC exam: injustice to candidates

Recently GPSC conducted online exams for selection of candidates for various jobs.
