This lockdown will not stop Covid

Our Goa chief minister always says that there's nothing to worry about specially when things regarding Covid are going out of control. Yes we are going through difficult times as many of our brothers and sisters in Goa have tested positive in large numbers and we have lost our loved ones as the death toll is increasing.  4-day lockdown in Goa is a joke, not  enough to break the virus chain as we can see that this lockdown is a mini-holiday. The government employees are given orders to work for one day off and one day work according to the department but those who are  daily wage staff  have to come for duty everyday. If the government really cares  about the people of Goa than it has to increase the days of lockdown as you cannot break the virus chain within four days that also by keeping borders open, by keeping industry open and by keeping shops and restaurants open. Also looks like there is a shortage of vaccines in the state and when health centre official are asked  regarding Covid vaccine for 18+ they say that they are waiting for the state government order which is yet to come.
