US President Donald Trump's direct threat to bring back penal tariff of 25 per cent on India if it buys Russian crude "directly or indirectly" is akin to the way drug lords issue threats to protect their market and territory. Shocking. And India is taking it lying down, in the name of grand strategy. The much celebrated trade deal will all but ensure that agriculture in India will die a slow death, what will happen to our farmers is anybody's guess. Truly we have proved that we are Vishwagurus....in cowardice. What a fall for India.
