The statement of Subash Velingkar has hurt the religious sentiments of the Catholic community in Goa who has been targeting our Goencho saib St Francis Xavier for years. Now Velingkar is calling for a DNA test on St Francis Xavier. The Congress party MLAs and the leader of opposition Yuri has already demanded the arrest of Velingkar and other MLAs and people from various parts of Goa have filled a FIR against Velingkar. Velingkar should stop interfering with other religion's saints and worship his own God. The Hindu community people are also shocked about his statement because they respect Saint Francis Xavier. Saint Francis Xavier is our Goans Goencho saib and will remain in our hearts and minds forever. The police department and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should immediately put him behind bars for his hateful statements before the Catholic community people come out on streets demanding Velingkar's arrest.
