When advanced countries like England, France, Germany, Netherlands, and the United States have rightly banned the use of EVMs for fear of manipulations, then why is India still refusing to follow suit despite being historically run by the most uneducated politicians?
As per studies conducted by some of the most highly intellect IT professionals of India, the EVMs can be easily hacked, tampered and manipulated to mischievously give a result in favour of any ruling party and the result of the last Lok Sabha elections is a slight indication to this serious charge. Otherwise, how come BJP managed to win maximum number of seats for the second consecutive time in states like Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Orissa, Bihar, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka etc (which have the largest number of seats and unfortunately also decide the fate of India) in the last Lok Sabha elections?
The Chief Election Commissioner of India should therefore need to do a lot of answering before voters start losing hope in the entire election process and practically start boycotting all future elections.
Yes, the EC should henceforth ban EVMs and start conducting free and fair elections using ballot papers in the near future just like all the above mentioned advanced countries of the world to regain the trust of the Indian voters.
Stop politicians from making a mockery of people’s mandate by tampering with the EVMs.
