Bid to stifle voices against sale, destruction of Goa

With the recent loud voices against hill cutting, land filling and other environmentally destructive activities, the TCP minister Vishwajit Rane came out with a series of strong statements in the Assembly and outside that the Goa government is serious about addressing the massive environmental violations in Goa.   But I notice that violations continue without any fear, hills are still being cut, fields are till being filled and massive areas are still being converted to settlements.  It appears to me that the Goa government particularly the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and TCP minister Vishwajit Rane are just giving out deceitful statements to try reducing the growing voices of opposition to the sale, destruction and pollution of Goa and actually the politicians are proceeding with their “business as usual” with specific companies/entities; particularly from outside Goa.
