BJP is sarcastically christened as one-and-half man party The party has systematically tried to decimate Congress and its leadership using dynasty as the tool. It is consistent and determined to remove Congress as most credible obstacle at all India level. They definitely have a thinking cell in place so also a well oiled propaganda machine. Where they cannot win by ballot it is defection by poaching and luring. When India is burning with serious issues, BJP strategists douse the fire by raising diversionary issues at all time. Forget about corruption , unemployment, price rise, fuel, etc the press, social media are kept engaged with diversionary issues
There is no dissent on any issues and none is authorised to comment on any policy programmes but parrot verbatim the official line. All attempts to criticise are brazenly shut out with impunity. The opposition is kept at bay, divided confusedly by resorting to witch hunt through ED, CBI, etc while it secretly plans its strategy. Investment in thinking cap, propaganda, keeping dissent at bay and confusing the opposition is the new strategy of BJP which is yielding dividends. The accent is on winning elections.
