The people from Anjuna and Arpora village are facing lots of inconvenience due to lack of passenger bus service from Anjuna to Mapusa via Arpora since 3 months. The people are demanding at least Kadamba Transport service on the route as soon as possible. Approximately 3 kilometres stretch of public road from Anjuna to Arpora lacks bus service to go to Mapusa city. The public have to walk at least one and half kilometres to board bus on Chapora and Calangute routes. Earlier three private buses were plying on this route which was convenient to the public. But suddenly 3 months ago all three buses have disappeared from the route causing lots of inconvenience to general public. Public mostly from Sim Anjuna, Simwado and Mainat Bhati and Kudachwado, and Sankwadi Arpora are facing bus transport problem. The public have therefore demanded a KTC bus service on this route in case private buses have stopped service. Some years ago two bus services were stopped, one was from Arpora to Mapusa via Parra-Aradi, and the other was from Baga-Sankwadi to Mapusa via Arpora Tinto.
