Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was officially chosen to look after the basic needs of Goans and to work for the all-round development of Goa. Unfortunately, Sawant is currently heard talking not of fighting poverty, unemployment, corruption or of constructing houses for Goans living below the poverty line but of rebuilding some imaginary ancient temples destroyed during the former Portuguese colonial regime.
Today, our tiny state is already seen fully conjusted with thousands of religious structures almost everywhere, especially near hospitals, schools, colleges, all national highways, bus stands, market places etc in Goa.
I therefore personally feel that our RSS-trained CM Sawant should stop talking of decorating the state with some more religious structures unnecessarily giving his own silly justifications to wickedly eye some of the existing religious structures of the minorities to somehow start organizing violent communal riots in the state, a la UP style and instead should try to build the temples of education, health, employment, economy, common sense etc to really improve the living conditions of all the 'aam-Goans' or else should gracefully resign from his hot seat immediately.
